Building and Grounds Refreshed – Thanks to Your Support!
We’re excited to share a round-up of recent improvements that have taken place at the church, all made possible by the generosity of our members and friends.
Inside the building, the lounge and the rear toilets have been freshly painted, giving these well-used areas a cleaner, brighter look. The cross outside the church has also been repainted, providing a visible and welcoming symbol to the community.
In the kitchen, we’ve made some practical upgrades. A new layout has been introduced, featuring a stainless steel double sink and extra storage. These changes will make the space more functional for hospitality and events.
The grounds have also seen significant work. Ground elder and overgrown shrubs have been cleared away, and new plants have been added—bringing fresh life to the outside of the building.
Looking ahead, the cupboards above the kitchen sink will be raised to allow a faucet to be installed on one of the rinsing attachments. The hand wash basin will also be reinstalled, and a skip will be delivered to help with clearing out leftover waste.
We’re also delighted to have purchased new toys for the crèche and an air hockey table for the youth club—small things that make a big difference to the experience of our younger members.
