Women of Faith VII — A Delightful Afternoon of Faith, Fellowship & Goodies

On Saturday, 12 July 2025, at 2:30 pm, ladies gathered in the welcoming hall of Crofton Park Baptist Church for Women of Faith VII — an uplifting celebration of faith, friendship and fellowship croftonpark.org.uk.

The event opened with warm greetings and heartfelt worship, setting a tone of joy and unity as women of all ages came together to share in spiritual refreshment. First up was Rev Nerissa Dubidad, whose engaging message wove personal stories with scriptural insight, encouraging attendees to stand firm in their faith and be bold witnesses in their everyday lives. Her words resonated deeply, echoing themes of courage, grace and God’s abiding presence.

Following Rev Nerissa, Minister Joyce Brako took to the stage. With sincerity and warmth, she offered practical reflections on living out faith in community—highlighting the importance of supporting one another and living out Christ’s love in tangible ways. Her relatable anecdotes and scripture-based encouragement left a lasting impression, inspiring many to deepen their commitment to both faith and fellowship.

No Crofton Park gathering would be complete without a lovely spread—and this one truly did not disappoint. Tables groaned under an array of cakes, sandwiches, savouries, and a stunning fruit display that added vibrant colour and freshness. Whether guests preferred sweet treats or savoury bites, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A special highlight of the afternoon was the cheerful and efficient service provided by the youth church members, who waited on tables throughout the event. With attentive care and genuine smiles, they ensured all guests felt welcomed and well looked‑after. A heartfelt thank‑you goes out to each one of these young servers—your dedication and warmth added an extra layer of grace to the entire day.

Amid bites and beverages, the atmosphere was filled with friendly conversation. Women connected across generations, sharing stories and prayers in an authentic expression of sisterhood rooted in faith. The combination of powerful speakers, delicious refreshments, and community‑building created an afternoon that was spiritually enriching and joyfully memorable.

As the event concluded, many lingered—continuing fellowship over second helpings and exchanging hugs. The sense of God’s presence was tangible, leaving hearts uplifted and spirits refreshed. Women of Faith VII was more than a gathering: it was a powerful testament to community, growth, and God’s abiding goodness.

Thank you to Rev Nerissa Dubidad and Minister Joyce Brako for your inspiring words; thank you to our wonderful youth team for serving so beautifully; and thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to welcoming you again for the next Women of Faith event!
