If you have never visited a church before, or have not been for a long time, it can help to know what a Sunday morning looks like.
Our aim is to create a space where people can worship God, hear His word and feel part of a welcoming church family.
Our service
A typical service includes worship, prayer, Bible reading, teaching and church notices.
Length
Services usually begin at 10:30am and last around an hour and a half. The children and young people go off to Sunday School about 10 minutes into the service and get back just before the end.
Atmosphere
Our gatherings are warm, thoughtful and welcoming, bringing together people of different ages and backgrounds. Depending on who's leading and speaking you will experience diverse preaching and worshiping styles, sometimes reflective, sometimes energetic but always sincere.
After the service
This is an opportunity to stay, talk and get to know people over a cup of tea or coffee accompanied by a biscuit. We may even get a home baked cake on occasion. Not everyone is into small talk but you're bound to find some interesting people to swap anecdotes, interests or your understanding of the message of the day. Go on, give it a try.
