Children and Young People

Children and young people are an important part of church life at Crofton Park Baptist Church.

We want families to feel welcome, supported and included from the moment they arrive.

Families are welcome

Whether your children are very young or in their teenage years, we want them to know they belong. We have Sunday school for the children and for those aged up to five, we have a creche.

On Sundays

The children stay in service till about 10:45 before they go to their Sunday School classes and creche. They take part in various activities with the older ones learning about Scripture and how it plays an important role in their everyday lives. They then return just before the end of service, sometimes sharing with the wider church what they have learnt or anything they made during the course of the lesson.

During the week

We have regular programmes during the week with Rainbow Toddler Group on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:15am - 11am and Youth CLub on Fridays from 7:30pm to 9pm. These normally take place during term time.

Safety and care

We are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for children and young people. At CPBC we take safeguarding very seriously. Our Safeguarding leads are always there if you have any concerns and they work hard to ensure we protect the young and the vulnerable.
