They are Europe’s longest standing faith-based touring dance company\, and the only company of its kind in the world. \nJourney of the Magi is a fast-paced\, brilliantly witty performance inspired by T. S. Eliot’s poem of the same name. The show offers a contemporary comparison between the quest of the wise men 2000 years ago\, and our own preparations in the run up to Christmas. \nWith a soundtrack to keep toes tapping and a feast of dance and drama\, Journey of the Magi delights audiences of all ages. \nCome and join us for a chance to laugh\, reflect and refocus this advent.

DESCRIPTION:Up and down the UK\, people will be gathering for the ultimate quiz extravaganza – all in the name of ending poverty for good. And you can be part of it! \nJoin our Big Quiz Night to help empower people to lift themselves out of poverty. Tearfund works in more than 50 countries around the world\, working through local partners to help individuals\, families and whole communities reach their God-given potential. \nThe annual Big Quiz Night will take place on Saturday 7th October in the church. As usual we will have nibbles and drinks. \nWe’re asking for a suggested £5 per entry but more will be welcome. You can donate on our JustGiving page here and we’ll send you a ticket. DESCRIPTION:Join us this Sunday as we celebrate the coronation of King Charles III with a family BBQ. It will take place in the church car park or in the rear church hall if the weather dictates. \nIt will start at 1.00pm and end at 4.00pm. \nAll our welcome and it’s completely free. \nPlease note that we can only serve children under 16 if accompanied by an adult responsible for their care and due to the nature of this event there are likely to be allergens present in most foods.
